The top three in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index were world-class talents. Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, who scooped a hat-trick of player of the year awards, topped the list. He was followed by Golden Boot winner Sergio Agüero of Manchester City and Arsenal’s Alexis Sánchez, who made such an explosive impact that he was named PFA Fans’ Player of the Year.
But they weren’t the only ones lighting up the Barclays Premier League and some of the key pundits at BT Sport have also identified players who had a fantastic 2014/15 campaign. Click on the videos to hear from Owen Hargreaves on Ryan Mason, Michael Owen on Jordan Henderson and Steve McManaman on Diego Costa.

Tenacity: with 85 tackles Mason was Tottenham’s most prolific tackler.
Jordan Henderson: The heir apparent to Steven Gerrard, he was the model of consistency for Liverpool weighing in with six goals and nine assists. At the age of only 24 he has played over 210 matches in the Premier League.
